Carbon Neutral Surveying Company

Continental Environmental Services operate an approved list of specialist suppliers who we work with to cover any area across the globe. This allows cost effectiveness and reduced carbon emissions to establish us to become the first carbon neutral surveying company. To achieve this we are also actively investing in carbon saving programmes.

Our surveying partners will be compliant with BS EN ISO 9001, for quality assurance, and ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 for Environmental and Health and Safety Management. Additionally, Survey Safe™ also operates a database of preferred suppliers that have demonstrated exemplary performance in achieving their clients' goals. Our safety and procurement team also monitor the performance of all our suppliers, ensuring the standards are maintained to the client's satisfaction.

CES Ltd is proud to be an independent asbestos consultancy. We do not have any commercial links with other consultancies, nor is it part of another asbestos group that has a license to remove asbestos, nor do we have any contractors as subsidiary companies. Hence there is no possibility of there being a conflict of interest in using our services. Our strength lies in this independence being able to operate as a ‘one-stop shop’ consultancy that fully complies with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.

Analytical companies are responsible for the independent verification of the cleanliness of the asbestos containing areas, where asbestos removal companies have removed asbestos. This is specific to the scope of works and likewise only areas that are accessible to inspect. Areas that are sheeted out of the enclosure or are inaccessible are classified as remaining contaminated. The responsibility of any remaining asbestos is that of the removal contractor who was employed to remove the asbestos. Liability of asbestos removal is their responsibility, and the responsibility of the analytical company is to witness this, which is known as the Four Stage Clearance Process.
